Hi, I'm Shawna Lee Hynd
Photography by Shawna Lee started way back when I was child, I loved to take photographs of my family and things we liked to do together. My father started my love of photography. The memories I have of the family hiking, to the powwows we attended are so special. This inspired me to continue what he started. From there it evolved.
I started back when film photography was a thing. Even took classes at the local community college learning how to develop my own film. That was not an easy task back then between the chemicals, dark room and getting the right exposure and not seeing if you got it right till after the picture is developed.
